Operations Chief Battalion 2 B Shift


Chief Groomes commenced his illustrious Fire Service career in June of 1994, shortly after completing his service in the U.S. Army. For 15 years, he dedicated himself to operations, serving as both a Paramedic and a valued member of the fire department’s hazmat team. In 2009, Chief Groomes transitioned to the Fire Prevention Division, where he distinguished himself as a Fire Inspector and Fire Investigator for four years. However, in October of 2013, Chief Groomes returned to the Operations Division following his well-deserved promotion to Battalion Chief
