The partnership between the Dothan Fire Department and the American Heart Association for CPR classes is a shining example of collaboration aimed at saving lives and promoting community well-being.

A Lifesaving Initiative: Recognizing the critical importance of CPR skills in emergency situations, the Dothan Fire Department has joined forces with the American Heart Association to offer CPR classes to the community. These classes provide participants with hands-on training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively in the event of cardiac arrest or other life-threatening emergencies. Led by certified instructors from the Dothan Fire Department, these CPR classes adhere to the highest standards set forth by the American Heart Association. Participants receive expert guidance and personalized instruction, ensuring that they feel confident and competent in performing CPR techniques, including chest compressions and rescue breathing.
