The Dothan Fire Department’s Fire Exploring Post is a hands-on immersive program open to young men and women, ages 14 to 18, with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of fire and emergency services. Members are exposed to the rigorous work that firefighters perform every day by training, responding, and serving along side our department personnel. Our goal is to provide trained individuals who may become career or volunteer fire and emergency medical personnel later in life.
