Operations Chief Battalion 2 A Shift

Chief Braswell embarked on his journey with the Dothan Fire Department in 2003, initially serving as a Firefighter stationed at Station 1 on C Shift. Over the years, he demonstrated remarkable dedication and skill, earning promotions that reflected his commitment to excellence. In 2012, he advanced to the position of Sergeant at Station 1 on C Shift, followed by a promotion to Captain at Station 1 on B Shift in 2017. In 2021, BC Braswell attained the rank of Battalion Chief, currently serving the role of Operations Battalion Chief for Battalion 2 on A Shift. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Chief Braswell plays a pivotal role in managing our annual Truck Company Operations Class, further showcasing his expertise and passion for advancing the department’s capabilities.
